Gausta, Telemark, Norway

Gausta, Vätterleden Holding AB

Gausta is Norway's best kept secret. A destination full of magic scenery, the most amazing 20th century history involving nazis, saboteurs, heavy water, Russian spies – and a founder who taught Hollywood stars how to ski in the Rocky Mountains, before becoming the the stuntman for Kirk Douglas in the film "The Heroes of Telemark".

Since 2018 I've been involved in transforming the destination brand, rebuilding it from scratch to make sure Gausta gets the attention it deserves.

Together with my old team at 2028 New World Agency I've been the copywriter responsible for writing the brand platform, PR, communication, ads, SoMe-posts, creating multiple hospitality concepts - including two hotels and four or five restaurants.

I also created the children concept and the characters Huski & Flaks.

Over the years, we've produced the app, the booking site, website, ski school material, every sign on-site, events, pop-up showrooms and an après-ski concept.

Did I say I love the place?
