An editorial illustration for New Scientist’s article “Did ancient humans start farming to drink more beer?” I wanted to bring the playful, inventive concept to life, beyond the plain article image, using vibrant, textured visuals inspired by stop-motion, claymation, and naïve art, with fun, plasticine vibes and bold, experimental colours.
